Now that it is that time of year again, here are a few winter storage tips for your investment.
1) Clean your car. Exterior and Interior. As you always want to keep the dirt off the outside, but you want to keep the mold away from the inside also.
2) Fill up you tank with fresh Premium fuel.
3) Air up your tires to help prevent flat spots
4) Keep a Smart Maintainer on your battery at all times. This is different than a big battery charger.
5) Leave your windows down a little to help with air circulation. That leather needs to breathe.
6) If your not in a perfect climate controlled garage, keep that moisture away from the bottom of your car by parking on a full size tarp. Put some cardboard on top of the plastic as needed for oil drips.
7) Finally, do everything you can to keep the rodents away. We do thousands of dollars of repairs every year do to critter damage. Pick your choice of options from: Traps, poison, moth balls, Or natural smells like ( Peppermint oil, Onions, Coffee beans ,Cayenne Pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon, ) are all good deterrents.
